Installing the Ecotube™ solar panel kit is simpler than you might think. The panels can be mounted directly on the roof, and the plumbing passed down through the roof flashing to a heat exchanger in the hot water tank in your airing cupboard. Ecotube™ solar systems can also easily be installed on flat roofs or vertical walls - just ask for the correct mounting kit at time of ordering.

A big advantage of the Ecotube™ compared to other solar panels is that the tube arrays can be installed vertically, at an angle, or horizontally to gain maximum exposure to the sun’s rays. Ideally they should be as close to South facing as possible but if that is not possible a two panel East/West system is also effective. If the cylinder is a twin coil, the lower coil is used by the solar system. If the cylinder is a single coil, you will need to add an Ecotube™ Cylinder Solar Converter to your order.
